How to change impeller on a 1965 9.5 evinrude?

It's not hard but you need a service manual, perhaps from your local library. You need to disconnect the shift rod under the engine cowl. Then drop the gear-case. the water pump sits on top of the gear case. remove the screws carefully, they are known to twist off. replace the impeller and housing. Then install back on motor.
